Ballston Quarter

Ballston Common Mall opened decades ago and was ready for a much needed transformation that would strengthen its relationship with the surrounding Arlington County community.

Through a multi-phase project in partnership with multiple developers, we helped bring a variety of new features and placemaking to life—including premier dining and entertainment, unique retail shops, new urban gathering places, and iconic architecture. In addition, upgrades to public spaces made the area safer and more enjoyable with improvements to the public parking garage, enhanced streetscapes for outdoor dining, and handicap parking.
