Arlington Mill

Arlington County selected APAH to build affordable family-sized apartments near Arlington Mill Community Center. VIKA provided surveying and civil engineering for the 4-story, 122-unit Arlington Mill Residences, meeting green building standards and Earthcraft certification per the Columbia Pike Form Based Code.

Arlington County selected the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) to build affordable rental apartments, most of them family-sized, on the County site adjacent to the planned Arlington Mill Community Center. APAH is a nonprofit developer dedicated to developing, preserving, and owning quality housing that is affordable and enhances the Arlington County community. As a member on the APAH-led team, VIKA provided surveying and civil engineering services for the development of the Arlington Mill Residences, on a one-acre site located at 909 South Dinwiddie Street.

The Arlington Mill Residences is a low-rise, 4-story apartment building with 122 units and structured parking. The entire building was marketed as affordable housing. The design complies with the Columbia Pike Form Based Code and was constructed utilizing green building design and is Earthcraft certified.
